"Really useful for sales follow ups"
DocSend has been really handy for our sales follow ups. We send out decks and proposals all the time, and being able to see who opened them, what they looked at, and where they spent the most time gives us a much better read than just waiting around for a reply.
It makes the next conversation feel a lot less random. If someone keeps going back to the pricing slide or a case study, we know what to bring up instead of guessing. Compared to just emailing a PDF and hoping for the best, it’s way more...
Setup was straightforward, and the shared links look clean enough that we don’t have to overthink it. It’s not perfect, but it cuts down on a lot of back and forth and helps the team follow up in a smarter way

"Opened fine, just a lil slow"
The doc opened up fine for me, no real issues there. It just took a bit longer to load than I expected, but once it was up everythign seemed okay

"I liked the general idea of the…"
I liked the general idea of the service and it worked fine once I got things set up, but the upload speeds felt slow at times. I also found the permissions a little confusing to figure out, which made the whole process less smooth than I expected. Not bad overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement

"Helpful when I’m too drained to chase files"
I’ve been using docsend to send files to clients instead of attaching a bunch of stuff to emails, and it’s been useful. When I’m feeling mentally drained, it’s nice to just send a link and not overthink who has what. The link settings and access controls are handy, and I like being able to see whether someone actually opened the document. It did take me a little while to figure out some of the options, but overall it feels secure and does what I need it to do.
"Version control gets messy fast"
I paid for it expecting things to be smoother, but that’s when I started feeling a bit unsure about it. Old files keep showing up out of nowhere, and it makes version control messy really fast. Annoying to deal with when you thought you were getting something more reliable.

"docsend has been a big help for keeping..."
docsend has been a big help for keeping our sales and client docs in one spot. The library is easy to set up, and it saves me from digging through a ridiculous number of old folders, random links, and “final_final” files just to find what I need.
Updating files is simple, and I like knowing people are looking at the most current version instead of something outdated. There isn’t much to learn, which is a relief, and overall it just makes our content feel way less scattered.

"Solid for everyday client sharing"
We use DocSend regularly for sending decks over to clients, and based on how it’s behaved for us, I’ve just come to assume it’ll be there when I need it. I can’t think of any major outage on our side, which is usually the main thing I care about with a tool like this.
There were maybe a couple times where pages felt a little slow to load, but the pattern has been that it clears up on its own quickly. It never got to the point where I had to stop what I was doing or find another workaround.
I’d give it 4 stars because it’s not totally perfect, but day to day it’s been reliable enough that I don’t really have to think about it. For me, that’s usually a good sign

"Works okay, but we may move on if integrations don’t improve"
DocSend has been decent for sending decks and seeing who viewed them, but the integrations really don’t line up with how our team works. We use a couple of CRM and project tools every day, and it constantly feels like we’re copying links back and forth instead of having everything sync the way it should. The product itself isn’t bad, but it adds extra steps that slow us down. For a smaller team it might be totally fine, but for us it hasn’t fit smoothly enough, and if that doesn’t improve, we’ll probably start looking for another option

"Pretty easy to keep my account in order"
I’ve been using DocSend for work stuff, mostly docs I need to share, and the account part has been simple enough. Updating settings, adding teammates, and checking who has access hasn’t really made me think too hard, which to me usually means it’s working well.
I did have one small billing question and support replied quick, so I’m counting that as a good sign even though it was only one question. Nothing super flashy or anything, but it does what I need and that’s kind of the main thing.

"Notifications don’t always keep up with me"
DocSend does what I need for the most part, but the view notifications can be a little slow sometimes. It’s not a major problem, but when I’m waiting on quick updates, it gets annoying because I want to know right away when someone checks my document.

"Really helpful for knowing what happens after I send a file"
DocSend has been great so far. I mostly use it to see whether people are actually opening the files I send, and the page-by-page tracking is probably the thing I find most useful. It’s come in handy for sales decks and proposals when I want to get a general sense of what someone looked at. Setup was simple enough, and the analytics are clear without being too much. Overall, it’s saved me from having to guess quite as often.

"Team sharing feels more clunky than it should"
DocSend works fine enough when I’m just sending a file to someone, and for that it mostly does what I need. But once our team started using it together, it got kind of irritating. We kept losing track of who changed what, and the permissions didn’t always feel obvious, maybe it’s just me, but I’d find myself clicking around thinking, wait, did I already give them access or not?
It’s not like the whole thing is unusable, and I can see why people use it. But with a few people involved, it starts to slow things down more than I expected. For the price, I guess I thought the collaboration side would feel a little more natural, like less stopping to figure things out and more just getting on with the work.
"I had a good feeling about using…"
I had a good feeling about using this for our links, and it turned out to be the right call. The permissions worked great and made it easy to control who had access without any hassle.

"Really handy when I’m away from my desk"
I use this on my phone often, usually when I’m running around or sitting in my car before picking up coffee, and it’s been great. Docs open quickly and I don’t have to wait forever just to check something. Super convenient when I’m not at my desk.

"Honestly, DocSend just makes life easier"
I’ve been using docsend to keep my links and shared files organized, it’s been really helpful. I like being able to see who opened what, because yes, that actually matters when you’re trying to follow up with people. The best part for me is that I can update a file without having to resend a new link every single time. It’s simple, it works, and it saves me from chasing things down more than I should have to...
"billing was fine, canceling took a bit"
my billing was correct, so no issues there. canceling took me a minute though because the steps weren’t super clear at first.

"Pretty much just works fast"
I figured DocSend would be one of those tools that takes a minute to get used to, but I was wrong. It’s been super easy so far. Pages pop up quickly, files open right away, and I can jump between links without feeling like the site is dragging. I usually assume a platform like this is going to have at least a little lag, but I haven’t really run into that yet, which is exactly what I needed.

"Good tool, but a bit pricey"
DocSend does what it’s supposed to do, and I haven’t had any real issues using it. But for a small team like ours, the monthly price feels a little like the “premium tool tax.” I’m just not using enough of the fancy bells and whistles to justify handing over that much every month.
"Kind of hit-or-miss with my files"
I tried uploading a few different file formats and, for whatever reason, some just wouldn’t work at all while others opened but looked off. At first I thought maybe it was something on my end, then I tried another file and got a totally different issue, so who knows. It was just frustrating because I expected it to handle the basics without me having to troubleshoot every upload.
